Was in the pub from 5 till 11 yesterday. Bliss. Only popped in for a quick one but they were serving Old Hooky Gold absolutely perfectly and then they put on a barrel of one of my favourite beers: Burton Bridge Porter.

Went to the 35th Cambridge beer festival on Saturday, and really liked it, got quite sloshed on real ale and cider, ate quite a bit of bread and cheese as well to soak up the beer...The only bad part was that I fell down some stairs outside a portaloo in front of some americans who smiled to themselves Now in some discomfort with back pain around me coccyxk

I had another pint of Hyde's Eager Beaver in Leyburn today. It washed down a big plate of lasagne and chips nicely.

Nice little number at lunchtime to accompany burger and chips. A mildly sweet bitter and golden in colour. In fact, it was probably two shades of yellow lighter than the piss I had this morning after all those sediment boys last night.

A quick pint of Oakham Helter Skelter at the Miners Gala yesterday. Very bitter taste, and got better and better down the glass. Very down-able.
