Hmm should I work at home again today. The snow hasn't melted at all...

Roads are pretty clear here, pavements not. So I'll be heading in to work soon.

Both kids schools are closed so I'll get more peace and quiet at work \o/

Its all gone here, lots of flooded fields and big puddles on the roads. Rained for most of the night and still raining now.

I'm not going to chance it on the roads today - it's about -4 to -5 here and the BBC News keeps saying how treacherous the roads are, so I shall work from home. The pavements are covered with frozen snow and the roads don't look much better.

I've just read a book called the The Snow. It doesn't stop snowing and the whole world gets buried in 2km of snow. Mostly a bit weirdly written for me but the end is interesting.

It's even worse here than it was yesterday.

Car's snowed in so I won't be going anywhere again today - my cars got whacking great big icicles hanging off it. The wind is so bad it's whipping up the snow and stinging your face and it's trying its best to snow again.

Roads totally empty and clear here. Pavements are really nasty though.

we're due to get rain later on, at the moment there's still thick snow and anything that has been trodden down has turned into solid ice

No more snow overnight here in Basildump

The roads are a mess though so Icy it's dangerous, walking accross Sainsburys car park after getting off the bus was an event & I nearly fell on my @rse a couple of times.

Will see what the next couple of days bring now.

Tried to get in this morning. No busses were running, I did stand there for 45 mins like a plank though. My mate tried to drive us in, we made it about a mile before his car was unable to get traction and I had to walk back home.


I officially hate the snow.
