Snow?!?

Much snow promised by the forecast all day. Blue skies as per usual this week.

Yep, just looked at the forecast for my area. Light snow during the day, heavy snow at night.

I could be spending the whole of next week working at home. Annoying as hell really.

Sunday is supposed to be heavy snow in the south.

I think that's it for us personally now...just need this damn ice to melt everywhere!

Loads more snow overnight here and it's still coming down lightly now. All this cold weather has taken my car battery over the edge I think. Had to jump start it a few times in the last 2 weeks.

No snow, but my pipes froze this morning and I have just fixed them with a hair dryer. I am ace.

Been snowing on/off all morning. Quite heavy at times. Sun's coming out to play now though so hopefully some of it will melt. I doubt it though as its -3 still outside.

Snowing quite heavily outside at the minute. My girlfriend wants us to go outside and make a snowman. Can't say I'm too enamoured with the prospect if I'm being honest.

I bet the camera crew spent a good 10 minutes rubbing that spot to make it extra slippery. Either that or the guy was offered a tenner to take a tumble

On our local news the other day they showed a similar clip, but it was a static camera, they showed at least 4 people slipping onto their arses.

Why didn't they tell people about the spot, given that they all slipped on EXACTLY the same spot!

The posties? They have been issued with snow chains to fit onto their shoes from what our delivery man told us.

I still laughed at that RTE clip btw, mainly because you can hear someone, maybe even the man say 'aarggh ****', they didnt edit it out

The snow chains don't really work very well unless you are walking on snow and only snow, they are also only available in three different sizes.
