PlayTrade - Play.com's version of Amazon Marketplace

Does it still work out cheaper selling on playtrade (compared to ebay) even if I don't plan on spending the money on play.com?

It's not cheaper at all as far as I can tell. It's just a lot more convenient, a lot easier, and a lot safer than eBay.

EDIT: It'll be much cheaper on games, just not DVDs/CDs

On one of my sales the person hasn't put their correct address down, the postcode looked dodgy so I checked it up on Royal Mail site and it said the address wasn't on their system. I've emailed the buyer to confirm the address but he hasn't got back to me yet. This just causes delay in me sending it and I bet he'll give me bad feedback now for being slow.

Refunded the guy because he wouldn't reply to my emails.

Now he's sent me negative feedback saying this "Item never recieved after claiming that he emailed me, again something I didn't recieve, this phantom email claimed that the post office said my address was un-deliverable, first time in over a 1000 packages from 7 couriers, including the Post Office"

I'm right p'd off! I get a dodgy address, refund the guy and still get bad feedback. Now it looks to other buyers that I've scammed the guy and kept the money!

Is there any way to send the buyer bad feedback or get it removed? I've done absolutely nothing wrong. I've got one good and one bad feedback now.

If you contact play, and ask to be put through to the playtrade section, they will help, (they are 2 different departments, and i have found consistently that the playtrade guys are 100 times better than the morons play have working on their cs dept!)

I've sold at least 20 thing's on amazon and only got 7 feedback to show for it. I mostly blame it on the way the options are laid out.

I have put a few things up for sale, but they won't show up in the listings under the item. Therefore they are not selling, anyone else had this problem? My account is definately listed as active.

Sold a few things over the last week or so and I just notice that I've had my fees refunded (which is nice). Are they doing free listings again or something?

I've recently started up again after having a few months chilling and have sold around 20 items since boxing day. The funds are burning a hole in my E-pocket and i can't find anything to buy at the moment. Might buy a ps3 for the bedroom as i've just put a new telly in there.
