I went to a poker night at a bloke from work parent's place this evening - great place, pool room, dining room, massive lounge, study, god knows how many bedrooms and some lush expensive and cream white carpets.

Being a gracious guest, I of course brought gifts, in this case a couple of bottles of red wine.

I think you can guess what's coming next.

Now, playing Texas Hold'em the dealer goes around the table, and, well, having just filled the rather large ( like the house ) glass to the brim made a great spatter of red across the a medium size part of a now mottled carpet.

The real kicker, and something I didn't actually know and wasn't told .. his parents are Mormons ...

I recently remixed a track for an artist on Myspace, a female French acoustic singer called Mayhemie. She totally dug what I did to her track. Which is nice.

Got up , walked to the lido, quick swim and then some sunbathing with the other half. Gonna watch the end of the qualifying and then jump in the motor, stop off along the way to nr Oxford to sit by the Thames for a picnic and then bbq in the afternoon at m8s.

Theres a great way of getting rid of moths.

1 Open all your windows
2 Make sure there are no net curtains in the way
3 Turn off the lights
4 Make the most blood curdling girly scream you can muster

Now the scream will make all your neighbours turn on their lights & come to the window, the moths will see this & fly back out & head for your neighbours.

I was invaded by stoned wasps this morning. Woke up at half five (probably by their buzzing) and three of the buggers were flying around the bedroom... well, they were attempting to fly, they could barely manage it

Got rid of 'em, closed all the windows, went back to sleep. Woke up again just before seven by another one crawling along my pillow! Everything from my bed is going in the washing machine just in case there are any more hiding in the sheets! Does anyone know why wasps act stoned near the end of summer? I've always wondered.
