Well i intend to smoke and drink myself into a frenzy tommorow, you know, a last hurah! Etc, then stop the fags sunday. Ive learnt how to drink in a pub and not smoke now so may as well, although i will be losing much coolness

Couldnt get on with patchs (not the 1st time ive tried quiting) the spays good as you can get a hit exactly when you need it.

Get yourself a terrible cough - I like a smoke but at the moment if I merely walk past someone who is smoking I break out in coughing fits because of this 'orrible cough that I have at the mo. I haven't smoked in over a week as a result and I'm gonna try to stay off them once I get shot of this lurgy.

People are taking time off for 'stress' at the kids nursery that my wife helps to run - it's getting ridiculous! Why can't people just deal with it and stop being so damn ghey!

Fair enough if you've had an emotional trauma like losing a member of your family, or if you hadn't accident or were attacked/mugged by some knife-wielding crazy or gun-toting loony, but if you are just stressed out because someone asked to do your job then you are pathetic! Pull ya finger out and get on with it! This isn't directed at anyone in particular, just those ghey-ass-bastards who decide to have an invisible problem that can only be solved by months of paid absense from work!

It's the world we live in now unfortunately - everybody wants something for nothing.

As an example my company has easily 2000+ employess - for 2006 absence days lost were as follows :

"Psychological" - 2250 days
"Viral Infections" - 1250 days
"Orthopaedic" - 1050 days
"Gastro Intestinal" - 500 days

then the rest trickle off but as you can see mental things which cannot be seen are the order of the day - I'm sure it used to be bad back for everything till companies started employing private eyes
