If if WAS sent special delivery, it should already have been delivered today. Pick-up times at post offices are scheduled throughout the day and to collect everything they have when they close.

Unfortunately it's becoming common for people to use the silver Special Delivery packets as free packaging and then only send the item by regular post. It can be very confusing for us posties at times The item won't enter the Special Delivery stream or be scanned in for tracking etc unless the person pays for SD when they post it.

Ah right, sorry, hadn't noticed that. Can ask the sender to send you a photo/scan of the back as well as the front don't mean squat really (anyone could just fill that out). The back has a dated PO stamp on the back marking the day of postage.

The other thing you could do is try to speak to Royal Mail. Give them a call on 08457 740 740 and speak to a person (don't do the automated tracking over the phone as that's the same as the online one) as they might be able to find out more for you, or they'll at least log that it appears to have gone AWOL!

Thanks for the details and phone number. Rather than look like a loon that doesn't trust the seller I'll wait till tomorrow to see if it all gets sorted out before I start demanding the back of things etc.

Going closer gives you a bigger headache. And everyone knows bigger is better.

My LCD is next to a mirror, just seen it out the corner of my eye from side on and looks much clearer!
