I just had an email confirming that my friend and I are on the guest list and they've asked that people bring their cameras and take loadsa pics so I'll just have to take my D200 as I don't have a compact camera - might see if I can borrow one though, now that I think about it! What is the food like at Cocoon - good I'm guessing?

Food is excellent but I imagine it will be nibbles and buffet tonight, but better than your average bear, delicious mini foods basically. Last event I did like this was the British Comedy Awards 08. Loads of free food and booze.

How come "superbugs" always crop up in hospitals? Or is that just my lack of knowledge? Anyway perhaps it's because of the obsessive cleanliness... so the only things that survive are mutated evil killer viruses? Are hospitals breeding this stuff by accident? Just a crap theory.

Charlie bear! Superbugs are discovered in hospital because peeps who get teh superbug end up there lol! Hence why it is made public from there. Well, that would be the obvious reason imho......

The superbug thing still happening over there? I don't think I ever hear about hospital bugs in US hospitals, at least it doesn't make the news in any case. Wonder if it does happen but they keep a tight lid on it? Might create a panic which would lead to legal issues... Actually, I know in the elderly nursing homes those bugs do the rounds.

I think 20% of us carry that bug in our noses, under normal conditions the body keeps it in check. In hospital due to illness and open wounds the risk increases.

My Mrs has to use nose drops, 21 days on, 21 days off, to control the risk of inflaming an allergy reaction her shin has to the bug.

I remember years ago hospital visting times were really strict (I spent a couple of weeks in when i was 12), these days it seems a free for all, increasing the contact/risk.

I'm selling my PS3 on Hot deals UK for now as I don't know where else to sell it (Ebay isnt an option, fees = no thanks)

anyway as expected I got ridiculous offers of £200 for a 40gb PS3 (boxed complete) with extra white dualshock controller, 4 games (LBP, singstar + mics, warhawk, motorstorm) a bundle of PS1 games, 2 blu ray films, 1 HDMI lead.

I kindly told them no.
One of them even said eBay wasn't a fair comparison (as I mentioned some guy sold his 40gb PS3 console only for about £200) wtf how is eBay not a fair comparison of going rates for 2nd hand consoles?!

He also said the 'fees' have to be taken account for. BS! My console isn't worth less than his because he's decided he's okay with paying eBay a big sum to sell his ps3 on their site.
