Oat cheerios. "Tasty and crunchy". Erm what do you normally expect from a breakfast cereal? Disgusting and limp?

Mollie Sugden was 86 and Karl Malden was 97, so they're not shocking revelations.

I loved an article in Viz called “The Curse of Dad’s Army”. The article implied that a healthy jobbing actor got a job working on the comedy series, and yet, just 30 years later, died in mysterious circumstances. Another actor was only in 1 episode, but died age just 94. Another appeared in every series, but one fateful night, their cat was run over – with no witnesses.

              Co-incidence, or something more sinister?

Yeah, it's funny, my father-in-law (who's staying with us after a total-knee replacement op) went back to hospital due to an infection. The last three nights my wife, daughter and mother-in-law have been visiting him in the evening, and when I came home to an empty, silent house on Monday, it felt really weird.

So I stayed at work, for the last two evenings, just to make the time before they get home, shorter!

Is that the collective name for strippers? According to one bright spark on t'interwebnetz, they would be known as a 'Stiletto' of strippers!

You sure he's dead? Thought I had seen him on TV the other week!

Edit: Yeah! He's very much still alive! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ian_Lavender

It was the 'geezer' in Dads Army that died young I think. Can't remember his name, but he was the 'wheeler dealer' character.

                          EDIT: Here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Beck
