On that subject, a fry up (well, we cook it in the oven, so an "oven-up") is one of my top 5 meals to have. Nothing like it on a sunday, with fresh orange and coffee.

Yeah, that's nasty. That sort of thing is where I find myself very conflicted. I want to be accepting of other cultures, open-minded knowing that my moral values may not be the same as others and who is to say that mine are any better than others? And yet, I read that and it jumps out at me as a story of barbaric backwards people from a time the world should long have left behind.Comment

I've lost the ability to taste things properly and my tongue feels like I've burnt it (I haven't). Google says I have "burning mouth syndrome" and it often goes away after a few years....
I had a granny smith apple at lunchtime - normally very bitter. I couldn't taste it at all. I threw it away.Comment
