In another call a man contacted emergency services to say he was stuck on a patch of ice in a street in Bolton and was too scared to go forwards or backwards.

I remember when I was a kid and Space Raiders were 10p. Saw them in Tesco the other day and they were 25p! Makes me feel old They only have the beef ones around here though, haven't seen a pickled onion packet for years.

I have to say, there's nothing quite as great as a ball of crisp flavouring that has built up at the bottom of a packet of crisps.

Frankly, I'm not sure people have the brains to manage the technology they've got.

Love that. Absolutely spot on.

I often think that - as a group, as a society, as humanity - people are no more civilized, civil , moral, righteous, intellectual etc then we were hundreds of years ago. Ancient civilizations put us to shame.

There are far too many people out there taking their lives, their neighbors, their surroundings, their environment etc etc for granted. It's like they couldn't give a rat's arse, and then the odd few who do are shot down. We now live in a horribly materialist, superficial world where everything revolves around money. Almost everything is rotten at its core, tainted by greed and selfishness.

But on a brighter note! Me and the misses are going for a midnight dip tomorrow evening to welcome in the new year! Woo
