Not really sure where to ask this, so i will ask here..........

On Black Berry IM (chat) is it possible to chat to someone on BB in another country? And is it free?

Me and the missus were liying in bed last night discussing my birthday and what I wanted.

Apparently a juggling monkey on a unicycle wearing a blue waistcoat and fez and smoking a cigar is a totally unreasonable request.

Don't ask me why I want one, I just always have and yet every year I've been disappointed.

I mean, how would that not be the most awesome thing ever?

Some sort of kinky sex would have been the first thing that occurred to me. Or just a bj

Pure hilarity. I guess a bunch of people here will appreciate its awesomeness.

I hear today a new galaxy cluster has been found in space (obviously), that is 9.6 billion light years away and one of the earliest since the supposed big bang 13.6 billion years ago. A light year is 5.86 trillion miles roughly, imagine 9.6 billion of those. The size of space boggles my mind. I wish it was easier to understand because if you have more than a normal interest in it, it gets complex quickly.

What are the chances of each star having its own system of planets? What are the chances of just one of those planets being able to sustain life?

We have eight or nine planets depending on your opinion and we know for a fact we have life on one of them. For arguments sake let's give it a one in ten ratio. I think each and every single star has the capability to start 'projecting' life onto the surface of one of it's orbiting planets, all it takes is the correct range, which of course will certainly be acheived at some point as we all know that stars expand as they cool down.

I still can't believe the majority of people are adamant that there is no other life out there in space, they're either brainwashed by religion, damn ignorant, or incredibly numb in the head.

Bloody hell- that picture broke my internet, but yeah, I'm fascinated by the prospect that there might be life elsewhere in the universe. Given the sheer, unfathomable size of the universe I'm baffled by people who are convinced we must be alone.

It amazes me what information some people share - http://dioxyn.net/stuff/doghouse.gif

Wonder if I'll get a reply?

                              QFT.

Also, the main assumption seems to be that if a planet doesn't have the same conditions as ours then it can't support life, but life can take many forms...
