They'll send a PS3 advert when Sony buy a PS3 advert. Their site is always covered in adverts for one platform or another, I don't know why this offends you particularly!

Any recommendations for killing time when there absolutely nothing to do?

Tests at school tomorrow and the next day. I am not allowed to take any reading material in, when I invigilate. I can only read the test paper, which given that tomorrow's is a chemistry exam, kills all of, oh, five seconds.

The only good thing is that, unlike the UK, Japanese exams at school never seem to be longer than fifty minutes.

All suggestions, dazzling or daft, welcome.

It doesn't "offend" me mate, I just feel that it's slightly inapropriate! I'm not a big fan of the site full stop if I'm honest. Advertising a game that is about to have a review published...I dunno.

Anyway...someone asked me to swap my day of in a fortnights time (I have the wednesday, she has the tuesday after the bank holiday) and I said yes, thinking "Great, long weekend"...it didn't even occur me that doing this swap now meant I had my birthday off!

Again a weird complaint. They review new games, and people advertise new games. There's bound to be a crossover. It's not any kind of bias

Advertising a game that you are supposed to give an impartial review to is dodgy grounds in my opinion and I don't think it's a "wierd complaint" mate.

I'm not saying it's not possible to do both, just that I find it odd. As long as the advertising revenue from (for example) Red Dead Redemption doesn't affect the review text and score, I've no problem.

Sorry, I wasn't after a particularly in depth discussion on it really, I was merely commenting on the PM I recieved.

Again... This is a teacher. Shouldn't we be employing people with some form of intelligence to actually teach our children?

I think most kids would learn a helluva lot more if they started work at 10 years old, especially if they were to pick up a trade in the forces.

An investigation was held immediately - this included a full technical investigation and has led to disciplinary action being taken.

Mr Jowett is currently on sick leave.

Sick leave? That's a relief, I'd hate to think that he was off without pay just because he's had disciplinary action taken against him.
