heh, there is this rumour that Examiners are only allowed to pass three people a day etc. Probably bull but you never know.

There was a Examiner in Wanstead who had a drug problem and would pass you for £200 but he got caught and sacked last year.

This was true during the 80's (my mate's dad who has just passed away this year used to be a driving examiner). I don't know about now though.

Back in 2002 it took me three attempts to pass my test. I was convinced I'd passed both the first times although they both had total bull**** excuses why I failed, pulling out too close to a bus was one which I remember was total bollocks.

Lol. My neighbour runs a plant/flower nursery. She just finished shipping, so had some spare so just came round with vast quantities on a trolley.... Busy on Sunday then. Will have to take some round to relatives. There's far too many for us.

I didn't want to mention anything (as it's not the most interesting banter in the world, really) but during flossing this morning I lost one half of one of my upper front teeth!!1 I ended up looking like a football hooligan and sounding like a lispy faggot, not the best of combos.

Anyhow, eventhough I'm not under any sort of monthly dental plan payment scheme with my old dentist I called in this afternoon during a 10min slot he had open and he 'vaneered' it over for just over £100. He's done an awesome job too - infact I'm glad I chipped it because it now looks better than before (and I can't stop licking it!).

During a generation of shockiingly poor service you stumble upon some good service for a change and it makes you feel really cheerful. Same day dental treatment - awesome. I haven't been anywhere near him in two years so he could have simply told me to go and f**k myself.

What do you floss with? Razor wire?!?

Every time I go to the dentist (first time in 10 years recently) they still say 'nothing wrong here, maybe you could do with seeing the hygeinist though', I'm nearly 30, surely I should have some teeth problems by now, not a single filling either. hmm

Normal dental floss, only I've never had any wisdoms removed so all my teeth are extremely compacted together. Flossing is usually painful and normally ends up with it all getting shredded and stuck in between my teeth, so I only bother doing it after eating crap like popcorn. I let mouthwash do most of the work usually.

I've not been since I was er... 19 or something (I'm 34) when they took out my wisdom teeth (seemingly with a road drill). They seem fine to me. All the money I've saved I'll spend on new teeth when I'm old. I'm sure if I actually go to a dentist, they'll tell me I need fillings and have to pay princely for the pleasure. So best to avoid them.

As David pointed out, there's no point in spending out on a dental plan. When you need them, just pay.

I've only been twice in almost 20 years, and both times had an infection/needed a filling. Won't be going back again unless in unbearable pain, not a very mature attitude but works for me. Nothing like a filling happy dentist to empty your wallet.

My mum went to a dentist in New Zealand who said she needed loads of fillings. Later another dentist told her she didn't need them. Great.... If I ever did go to one and they said I needed work done, I'd then go to a different dentist and see what they say (without telling them anything).

Anyway, I'm growing strawberries. I have a bumper crop. More than we need. Which is nice compared to the 4 we had last year.

One thing I would be cautious of is wisdoms. If left alone and they grow wrong they can really mess your face up and can result in all your back teeth being removed.

I was advised to leave my wisdoms in as I have this really important nerve that runs between the roots of the lower set - if anything happens to that nerve during extraction I'd be left with a completely numbed lower lip and tongue forever. No thanks.

lol! You only had 4 strawberries last year? Or 4 plants? You wanna try growing some other classic British berries and then start making loads of puddings + pies etc. Then you can send me some food!

Just popped into the ridiculously named Currys.digital to see if they had the One For All Chameleon remote that I wanted (the 3rd incarnation, 8-in-1 version) and it was only bloody half price!! Usually £69.99, to me today £34.97!! Get in!! So I bought it. I had the v.1 and it was awesome. Then my bro gave me v.2 and I gave v.1 to charlesr. He likes it because it is very good. However, v.2 does not really rock, but v.3! mmmmm......version 3! Is nice:

                                Me so happy
