My wireless has suddenly died on me.
I came in and noticed the lights on my wireless router were not flashing as usual. Turns iut thr adapter plug had stopped working. I replaced it with another plug of the equivalent voltage but still cannot get to the internet via the router anymore. My laptop, Wii and 360 all get to the internet via this. However, even with a new adapter, the router no longer works even though the config settings are the same as before.
It looks like I might have to buy and set up a new wireless router, but I can't understand why I can still power it on with another adapter yet it no longer wworks at all. Any ideas anyone??Comment

Ady, the exact same thing happened with my Mam's router and it did indeed knock some of the config settings off. I had to call the ISP to confirm what they should be and once I'd made the changes it was fine.Comment

Had to buy a new one in the end (the short had fried the innards of my old router somehow), but it was worth it. The new one took me 10 minutes to set up, and was just a matter of connecting some leads and inserting a CD. Happy days!Comment

I think it gets lighter in the morning and darker at night. It seemed lighter this morning anyway. Or it's the opposite. We'll find out at about 5!

How does tax work? If I've just got a part time hourly-paid job, will I not pay tax until I've earned a certain amount in a year, or should I be paying tax based on my projected earnings for the whole year?
Basically, I've been paid but haven't paid any tax. Why? Just wanna know if they'll ask for owt back
