To buy or not to buy (Skyrim), that is the question. I have a feeling it might be too similar to Oblivion and therefore I'll get bored with it. The other side of the equation is I'm off work for two weeks and need something to do!

Not planning on renewing my xbox live in January. Have been using it continuously since around the beginning(Midtown Madness 3?) and amassed a fair few games but just not using it at all these days. Thinking about getting shot of the 360 and using the ps3 instead. Not looking forward to rebuying stuff like Daytona but the idea of using the Saturn pad to play stuff instead of that duff madcatz fight pad is spurring me on

billy, I was considering the same thing for the last few months, especially now my 360 is dead. Thing is, it has some exclusives, like Rez HD (I think it's exclusive to Live?), the recent Bangai O game, etc etc. Live is a decent service too and I don't want to sell and replace all my games...

I was lucky enough to win a PS3 a few years back, but I mainly use it for Blu-Rays and BBC iPlayer. Even then, I've only picked up Akira, Aliens Anthology and Sunshine after reading the Blu-Ray benchmark thread. That takes my total up to 5!

I played Little Big Planet and loved it, but I only turned it on again when my launch 360 died and got addicted to Fallout 3.

I'm a little let down that the new services on Live all require Gold. YouTube, Daily Motion, LoveFilm and so on, but it's a step in the right direction.
Personally, I much prefer the 360 and I have more friends who regularly play on this platform.

I'm sure there are other who'd prefer the PS3, but I'm pretty sure we've some co-op games to play, Shinobi!

QC, I think both consoles have some good exclusives, with Live being a strong point of the 360. I'm just a bit OCD sometimes about amassing stuff though, and looking back at the money I blew in the past few years has me reconsidering my habit(s). There's an amazing looking new Gundam Vs gameon the PS3 though, but I haven't seen it being discussed here. It looks tremendous.

Bottom line is Live and the Halo series are the only real thing tying me to the 360. Seeing as I haven't played anything online for around 6 months(not counting the five minutes with Daytona online), there's absolutely no point in my keeping it ando once Live is out of the picture, there's really no point in keeping it as all it does is sit in the corner and play the odd DVD.

Speaking of DVDs, the IR sensor is hilarious. Whereas on the original model 360 I could point the remote all over the place, this S needs me aiming straight at it.

Don't get me wrong, it's not the 360 itself, just that I don't play anything these days and it doesn't play BRs or I'd have kept it and got shot of the PS3 in a flash. The stuff I want to play on i is multi-platform arcade stuff anyway. As for Halo 4, my little bro has a 360 so I can just play it on his(like I'm gonna do with MW3).

Funnily enough, my Live 12 months expired this Summer / Autumn and I had only had a few games of Tekken all year online, that's it (one or two days). Felt like such a waste. I used Live a lot more when I first got the console, probably 3-4 years ago now at least.

That's the thing. I think Live is definitely good value if you're going to use it, but I spent ?30 last year to play about an hour of Street Fighter. I've played a few things online on PS3 and hated it. Tekken 6 was hilariously bad online compared with the 360 version. Not in terms of lag - both were the same to me - but the number of hoops I had to jump through to play a few games with my mate was ridiculous. I couldn't just host and invite him or something weird like that, I can't remember now. Live just works for me.

I want a quadrocopter. Anyone know where to get one that doesn't cost 500 quid and you don't have to put together yourself or know all about them to use.

You might need to buy a controller too for some quadrocopter action.

This one is ?269.99, but you'll need a controller too, which is another ?200.

How about getting an indoor one for ?99.99 or maybe a USB controller and simulator software?
