As the article contains the phrase "according to the National Enquirer," there's a fair chance it might not be... 100% accurate. Hopefully so, lost my Nan to cancer, not a pleasant way to go.

      That sucks man.

I gotta do a 12 hour induction for a job I don't wanna do. I got the job but I need the money. The induction is 6 hours on Friday and 6 hours on Saturday, the job is working for the asda's website delivering and picking the orders. Without sounding big headed, I'm so much better than this.

I'll be working Monday and Tuesday 5am till 10am and Thursday, Friday and Saturday 1pm-9pm.

My young brother did a similar job at Asda's for 18 months MM, said it was hard work and bosses were sh*ts but the overtime and marking down food that he wanted to 10p kept him going

Will look better on your CV than sitting at home doing nothing.

          Yeah true.

I've applied for a few proper jobs so I hope I get some luck with those. One is for a BT apprentice which starts in September and my application has passed the first stage, so if I get some luck with that I'll stick the ASDA one out until then.

A bloke has been sent to jail for 30 years for stabbing a woman to death on their first date.

              Something went seriously wrong there.

didn't get the job woo, I asked for feedback, apparently I didn't maintain enough eye contact and wasn't customer centric enough when dealing with the problems in the test. I thought I did well in the test as I didn't have to ask for help etc, but I obviously did something pretty bad in there as it was primarily mentioned. I have trouble maintaining eye contact with the best of people though, I never understood those ultra-confident types who just manage to stare through you and make you uncomfortable.

A long time ago in a ****ty sales job I was taught a nifty way of keeping eye contact without feeling all weird which works nicely should the situation require it. I know there are some variations, but the one which works for me is to shift your focus from one eye to the other, and then to a point between their eyes on the forehead, and then back to the first eye, like a triangle. It looks like you're keeping contact the whole time but you can shift your focus about and feel more comfortable.

That's exactly what I use. It works a treat.

I had to go for an "interview day" before xmas for a job I didn't want. Sort of a relief not to have to do it but it's a bit of a kicker to find out you're not good enough for a job you didn't want in the first place. Best to think of it as not your type of thing.

Getting back into "life" is pretty damn hard, especially when you were barely there to begin with.

Lots of job vacancies stress the need for "interpersonal skills", mate.
