Nice! Look forward to seeing it! What colour did you go for? There is something about that green on the model in the advert that I think really suits the car - and I'm not usually keen on green cars!

The demonstrator I drove was just like the one in the advert. I thought it looked great in the ad but it didn't look as good in the metal. I ended up going for the car in white with a black roof and the dark chrome alloys. And the red stitching on the seats to liven up the interior.
Further down the line I might try to source a set of seats from a Polo GTI. I've been a fan of tartan seats since the Mk 1 Golf GTi.

Just got back from Le Mans. I may or may not have done a night time blackops mission across the fields to get right up to the armco on the section before the Porsche curves to get exactly 5 yards from cars doing 200+mph. Rush-tastic.

nice one Charles ! going to Lemans 24h is one of the things high on my "to do list". How is the atmosphere around the track ? from what I've heard it's like a 3 day party going on nonstop.
Last 2 years I've been to the 24h race at the Nurburgring, great fun as well but I think it cannot compare to LeMans ?!..

I got there Thursday morning and the party had already started. Recommended if you can find a few others to go camping with. I have a highly exclusive campsite tip - PM me if you ever want details. It has a secret access within 3 mins walk of part the track (earplugs needed if you want any sleep during the race though) and isn't like a refugee camp like most of the others. It's 10-15 mins walk to a proper track entrance (or an hour on Mad Friday while stopping to lean on cars and vans while they do burnouts).

Caught my own breakfast on the way to work this morning.

It smashed a big hole in the lower grille and nearly took the radiator out. I was over halfway to work so carried on driving while getting funny looks from other drivers and glares from pedestrians. I got to work and got hold of some gloves and a bin liner to remove it, which was just EEEWWW. The bit hanging out was just half of it!

Had that happen with a blackbird (wasn't driving so I didn't have to be the one to prise it out).

Only ever knowingly hit one thing when driving, was some bird that flew out in front of me and it kinda exploded in a shower of feathers before rolling off the roof and splatting on the car behind.
