So yeah, I pretty much vomited from jealousy.

I'm going to plant a bomb underneath it so you have to go through a ridiculous car chase, fly off a ramp, flip in the air and snag the bomb on a crane hook. Naturally you will land no problem and then go off to kick some ass.

Very nice Colin, you picked my favourite colour and car!!

My sure you take in some twisty roads on the way home

      Have fun.

        Just bought myself this: http://twitpic.com/7b28u8

        Sweet

( Though admittedly, not quite as sweet as a Carrera 4)

I owned long line of hot Hondas (3 S2000's, several type-r's, umpteen crx's) great cars!

Traded my MX-5 in for it - I couldn't face another winter with the rear wheel drive and LSD - loved owning the 5 though, such a fun car to drive especially with the roof down in the summer, but in the snow and ice it's a real handful.

The Type-R was a completely different experience, you know the 5 grips and breaks gently (unless it's wet), but the Civic was just confidence inspiring. I also looked at the Ford Focus ST2 and the Mk3 MX-5. I think I've made the right choice with the Type-R.

Very nice C4S. Any particular reason you went for the Tiptronic box?

I still miss my Porsche, whenever I see one I get all melancholy and curse my wonky leg.

I've fitted steel wheels and winter tyres to the VRS I was worried it was going to terrible but its got a sort of outlaw look to it now. Just needs some leather straps on the bonnet.
Got steel wheels and tyres to go on the VW as well. I'll post some pics once they are on for you all to laugh at.

I had been determined I would only go for a manual CMcK, especially after the tiptronic I had previously test driven seemed a bit 'off' to say the least. Once i'd learned how to use and get the best out of it though I was totally sold. Added to the fact most of my driving will be in and around London I decided it was the better option, as it'll only really get pushed hard when i'm home in Scotland. And at that, even in full on auto mode it's more than capable of putting a big grin on my face!

I was adamant that a sports car should only ever be a manual but after owning a DSG equipped car for a few months now I can see the appeal. And if you are stuck in city traffic an auto is definately the way to go.
When I was shopping for my Porsche I reckon at least 70% of the ads for Carreras were Tiptronic models.

Great car choices marty and ikobo. I can't fiit in them porsches - legs too spindly. Look fantastic though. I tried a type-r and loved it.

My golf (no competition to the Porsche) has a 7-speed DSG. Tis the future I tell you, very rarely do I miss the clutch

I still find it bizzare having 7 forward gears, especially as its only for a 1400cc engine!

I splashed out 170 pounds on a new set of official Subaru carbon fibre type center console panels and aircon vent covers this week. Actually, they've been on order for about 1 month.

They look really smart in real life. Far better than the standard set up.
