I've driven a 350Z track prepped. It was fun but v.heavy for a 2 seater. Rear wheel drive and 6cylinder power made for instant foot down fun.

If the 2.5 WRX is like a more torquey version of the 2.0, then it'll be easy to drive, understeer a little too much until you put a stiffer antiroll bar at the back and be a nice cross over between sensible and fun. And be daftly easy to power up. And eat tyres. And give big grins. And work well in the snowy weeks.

Not sure what my problem is here, but one of my front window screen wipers (drivers side) seems to give me a wet/dusty smudge when I use it.

Is a new blade in need or is the angle wrong? It's only started about a month ago.

          Seriously?

Clean with vinegar. If it doesn't improve, get new blades.

Just a bit of Sarson's on a cloth and wipe blade?

Has anyone sold on the Pistonheads website? It's been up the creek since I signed up over the weekend, mostly getting errors when opening pages.

I've finally got to the 'submit advert' section and it keeps autofilling random personal details(name, address, etc) and I think these details are from other users. Full names, email and home addresses and mobile numbers.

It's quite scary, not least because some naughty type could just keep refreshing and getting random info!

Yeah. Most wiping issues are due to cruddy or worn blades. If vinegar doesn't shift the crud, then it's worn or scratched.

I *bought* my car on pistonheads.
A friend with a porsche showroom sells advertises on there all the time.

It's stopped now. I saw three different sets of information before getting scared and changing my info, after that it sorted itself out. Seeing as they're having issues with adverts right now, it could've been caused by some database maintenance but blimey!

Someone's coming round to see the BMW tonight. Feeling like I should hold onto it a bit longer and try and fix some more things but my tax and insurance renewal are due now so I need to just be smart and let go.

That's assuming he wants to buy it, of course!

Oh my brother sold his M3 over on Pistonheads last month so it does help to advertise on there as well as the usual Autotrader. Bad thing is you get a lot of young interest on a site like that and they will come round to see your car just to have a go in it.

I should've said it doesn't drive, then they wouldn't want to come round for a go, and anyone who bought it would have a pleasant surprise. I'd have to lower the price if I did that, though!

Was supposed to be leaving the country in January, but my company have convinced me to stay on. I've managed to wangle six weeks holiday at Christmas out of them, and thought I'd treat myself to a new toy. So, just bought this, pick it up Wednesday after it's had a full major service and MOT, then i'm taking a drive home to Scotland in it on Friday......

Not owned a car in a while as i've had no use for one, so looking forward to it!

                                That is Man Plan.

On a side note, I saw a matte white BMW yesterday. It looked gorgeous. I usually hate matte cars because they look like toys(there was a matte grey Murcielago near work which looked like a giant RC car) but there was something about it that freaked me out. In a good way.
