Sweet. Check out swiftcover for insurance - they sorted me insurance for my newish RX 8 cheaper than the old Ford Puma... although that might have been due to mis-categorising the rotary engine

Went and test drove the 2.2 diesel Civic today. It was pretty fun, but I'm slighty concerned as to whether I trust myself in something with so much more Grunt than my 1.6 Golf

I just got a 1.8 turbo focus, coming from my old 1.2 corsa, the difference in speed was a bit of a shock the first time the turbo cut in, but a fun shock

It flew, I was doing 95 on the M1 without realising it.

It's definately a contender at the moment, although it's a month or two off from me getting to order a car anyway, so things might change.

The NEW NEW NEW Civic is a bit gay (2012), I have the 2006+ Civic EX, I still love it as much now as I did when I bought it 18 months ago, looks the business in Red, good with fuel, and great torque. Get one :P

I always liked that Colt you had, they were nice little cars. At one point I almost got a Proton Satria which is pretty much an old model Colt but I decided it was a little too old dated looking now...plus I could never make up my mind whether the bolted on arches were good or not lol.

Little bro is selling his Clio now and we spent all Saturday cleaning the thing up....2 hours between us spent just on the wheels alone.

How about a DC5 then? Same engine as the CTR you are looking at. Stunning! All the awesomeness of the Civic but less common and prettier.
