Don't you think that Aston selling a 1.3 Toyota with no suspension mods just a different body/interior will devalue the brand anyway?

Saying that, the iQ does seem a very clever little car so it may just work out for them.

Maybe, maybe not, what i mean is they're keeping it still fairly exclusive by stipulating someone must own a proper model before they'll be sold this one.

My first thoughts on reading this was that the people buying these will be rich parents buying one for their little princesses who've just passed their test, or for the wife (if she doesn't want a Range Rover that is), why would anyone want to own one themselves if they own a DB9 already?

I bet there's tax breaks if the average CO2 emissions of your range of cars is below a certain threshold. But I'm cynical that way.

I think there is something like that. We'll get a diesel Porsche next - oh, hang on

We don't talk about "that". Which reminds me, my local indie Porsche dealer had a Cayenne Turbo in the other day... £22k! Guess folk just don't like the running costs anymore.

My brother-in-law runs a Cayenne S and a Merc SL55 AMG, some people care not about running costs. Best mpg he sees in either is somewhere around 19, crazy.

I've always had a bit of a thing for Gallardos but my oh my, this one really gets me going:

                Lamborghini Gallardo LP550-2
2 Wheel drive (rear obv) and 550bhp going by the Lambo naming standards. LP also means lightweight in Lambo world, that'll be a right beast.

Anyone got any experience in alloy servicing or painting? My front two alloys need servicing as they are scratched (but not dented). I'm thinking about spraying them all like a gloss white. I've sanded the scratches down and hoping the spray paint will hide the scratches better. I'm saving up for a baby so low on funds you see, so looking for the best options.

                  Cheers!

Think you can get kits to fix them yourself for about £15 from Halfords. Never tried them myself though... I guess your "best" option is to get a professional (like one of these mobile people, Chips Away etc...) to do it, but I always feel like they overcharge.

Not so sure about the gloss white btw! Be interested to see how that turned out if you went that route...

Yeah I wasn't sure at first but it's a blue car, white alloys look the business on blue cars.

It's only a MK 2 Corsa SXi with these wheels. Should look something like this.

                            Saw this at Goodwood:

The Frazer-Nash Namir, google tells me that it's a 0.8 litre rotary petrol engine mated to 2 electric motors and loads of batteries, capable of 187mph!

Of much more interest to me though was the interior:

Tweed! In a supercar concept, can you believe it? I bloody loved it, looked great. There's a link to the large version if you want to see more detail in the photos description if you click on the shot to get there.

I bought myself a new car tonight, an Alfa GTV in vela Blue with tan leather interior, 52 reg. First change of car for me in 12 years, since the little AX i bought at Uni! I think i deserve it!!

Any other Alfa fans in this thread? I was loving my drive back. The twin spark 2.0litre engine sounds lovely.
