I am not a huge fan of WoG either DT; like a lot of the touches, but it's not really my thing. I have got a load of iTunes credit burning a hole in my virtual pocket right now though, so perhaps I'll give it another shot on this format.

I have already grabbed YDKJ (if it's anywhere near as funny as the recent 360/PS3 version I will probably not be able to play this in public), #sworcery, One Life Only and Coin Drop on the basis of the recommends here, but I'm not finding myself gaming on the iPhone so much any more. I've not even got round to Hot Springs Story yet! I am far too tempted to buy an iPad currently and I think it's making me bitter towards my poor iPhone

Sword and Sworcery really is a beautiful experience. The pixel art is stunning, music wonderful, humour some other word that just means great too. I love it.

I played World of Goo on PC and didn't have any problems with the controls.

It's one of my all-time favourite indie games- I don't think I "got it" entirely either (MOM...?), but the gameplay, art, music and atmosphere were so great that it created a really lovely, memorable experience.

I wouldn't expect it to play as well on the iPhone, though. Also, unless you're using headphones, you'll be missing out on the fantastic soundtrack.

Downloading Swords & Sworcery now. Why did it have to drop on the same day as Portal 2, now I want to play both at once

Finished Sword and Sworcery this evening. An absolutely beautiful experience. It's mostly just a bunch of walking around but I love everything about it.

              Coin Drop!

If you chucked Peggle, pachinko, pinball, portals, magnets, lasers and Angry Birds into a big mixing bowl, sieved out the birds and served it in a Peppa Pig thermos flask, you'd not be far off what this is.

A core team of four of us made this over the past five months; we're pretty proud of it, so if you have a spare 59p rattling around, give it a go and let me know what you think.

It currently has 60 levels with more to come in the future. Thanks
You just got recommended by Charlie Brooker - congrats!

I bought Coin Drop today. A lovely game with a great style. Really great work. I'm well impressed.

You know, there's an odd lack of pachinko games on the app store. There are a few that all seem to have the same table for some reason but I'd love to see some full on pachinko games.

I got coin drop, very nice, polished bargain 59p game.

Can't put my finger on it but lacks something that the top breakout games like peggle, angry birds, cut the rope have. I played a few levels and was happy to move off it, it's very nice but lacks that hook for me.

Bizarrely, Metacritic currently lists Coin Drop as the best game of all time... Higher than Mario Galaxy and GTAIV!

Metacritic aggregates music, game, tv, and movie reviews from the leading critics. Only Metacritic.com uses METASCORES, which let you know at a glance how each item was reviewed.

                    Bonkers!

                      Well Done.

Youve made the best game ever.

I've just played the first few levels of Coin Drop. Blimey - I can see this being the second NTSC-UK game that I play way too much of. Nice work! Are you sleeping on piles of money yet?

Ha, not at all! It hasn't really made an impact in the US which is where the money is made, sadly.

And we also released it at an unfortunate time when EA were selling everything at 59p so never had a foothold in the top 10 here either.

Still, fingers crossed it gets noticed a bit more rather than slipping away down the charts without a trace. We have a couple of updates planned which might help but, if not, we'll just have to cut our losses and move on to the next project!

Glad you're enjoying the early levels, hopefully you'll love the later ones even more

Any of you guys got Order and Chaos Online? It's a WoW clone by Gameloft and it's not half bad!

                            Comment

Yup i've been playing it a little bit, I'm actually quite impressed with it myself. Hopefully Gameloft will keep it updated and start adding new stuff to it - everybody's crying out for instanced dungeons and I don't blame them, that would be absolutely brilliant.
