What is World of Goo? I've heard the name (Wii Ware, right?) but what type of game is it?

World of Goo HD is now universal, meaning I wasted a whole 59p getting the iphone version on launch day - nothing wrong witht the iphone version other than the smaller screen means your fingers constantly in the way

Been desperate for a game that crosses Angry Birds with WWE Superstars ? then look no further than WWE Slingshot. You know what your getting for your ?1.19 with this one.

Been playing the iOS version of the new You Dont Know Jack game.

Its only ?1.79 and just as funny as the ?40 disk based versions no doubt are. yeah its very america so you might not know the anasers to half the questions (though suprisingly i seem to know nearly all of them) but it doesnt matter. What matters is how much this game will make you laugh, and it will make you laugh alot. Its also increadbley up to date, which I suppose is an advantage of making iOS games as they dont take long to produce, it has refences to everything from the Royal Wedding to Rebecca Black in it.

Anyway its just an absolubte riot and it even has a demo so theres no reason not to check it out.

                One Single Life.

Not a nerd date simulator but rather a running game where you only get one life and can never play it again (unless you uninstall and redownload)...

Take a gander - its free.

Quick question: am I allowed to recommend my latest game?

                  It's a good 'un, honest!

EDIT: I'll recommend it anyway - if it's a problem, feel free to remove this!

                  Coin Drop!

If you chucked Peggle, pachinko, pinball, portals, magnets, lasers and Angry Birds into a big mixing bowl, sieved out the birds and served it in a Peppa Pig thermos flask, you'd not be far off what this is.

A core team of four of us made this over the past five months; we're pretty proud of it, so if you have a spare 59p rattling around, give it a go and let me know what you think.

It currently has 60 levels with more to come in the future. Thanks

I've been playing this, very challenging!

I've found though if you complete the 'cloud jumping' on the credits screen when you've died, you get another life. I'm not sure if you can do that every time you die. But it works at least once

It's been said elsewhere on these boards, but I want to mention the iPhone/iPod touch release of Sword and Sworcery. I've only played the first chapter and a bit but this is superb so far. The music, graphics are sublime and it just oozes atmosphere and is very immersive. I've seen nods to Zelda and Miyazaki already, but another comparison I'd make is with Ico/Shadow of the Colussus. ?1.79 on release but I'm happy considering the quality and love put into this product.

I started it earlier. Looks beautiful. I kind of wish I was playing it on an iPad.

Been playing World of Goo and I like it despite the flaws (largely involving the controls)

It reminded me how much I love bridge building games. Any other good ones on ios?

I'm not getting World of Goo at all. I mean, I got it. But I don't get it.

                              It's, totally a metaphor dude.

We're the blobs and like, society is the big pipe. We're just flowing along on the lines create by the lives of other until society comes and sucks us out of where we want to be.

                              Fear the pipe man!

World of Goo is still absolubtley fantastic. The iphone version doesnt lose anything in the translation.

As you mention abigsmurf it does have control issues but it always had them, even on the wii you were always picking up different coloured goo balls than you wanted too, so its not actualy anything to do with the small screen as you might have thought it was.
