EDIT: Never mind, I now know why it was removed. I also remember that I did download it and deleted it. It played like **** on my 3Gs. Seemed like a crappy port to me. Being in Japan we get loads of Chinese **** and a lot of it is a pure rip off. There's this one guy that keeps uploading the same ****ty Metal Slug rip off under many different names and another that keeps uploading a Contra rip-off under a few names. There's even 2 copies of Irem's Spartan X on the iPhone. Personally I think Apple's evaluation department for games is a f*cking joke. There's loads of perfectly clear copyrighted rip-offs, the same **** game uploaded multiple times and worst of all, no quality control at all.

On a good note, check out Magic Chess. It's free and extremely beautiful.

Nah, I'm not a racist but do really get sick an tired of Chinese just blatantly ripping off stuff. They have the skills to make quality goods so why don't they? I mean, if you can reverse engineer a GBA then release your very own clone (with a crappy slow crystal I might add just to annoy all that bought it) with loads of pre-installed games then why not do something original and get recognition for it?

Over at ASSEMblergames, someone found an unreleased proto Chinese handheld with apparently licensed Taito arcade games and an original RPG. On closer inspection the RPG had many of it's graphics ripped from a DS Zelda game The Taito stuff seems to be original though although Space Invaders did share an awful lot of Saturn version screens. hmmm.

For those who haven't got it already, Infinity Blade is half price just now - down to ?1.79.

Just picked it up myself, liking it so far after about 5 battles in. Can't quite get the hang of parry yet though and I imagine it'll be quite important the closer you get to the God King or whatever you call him.

From memory you get about 30 levels per 'stage' and there are about 10 stages! All with different themes, pirates, zombies, xmas etc!

Get it free whilst you can - I paid for it and it was well worth it, so for free it's a must have

Yep it's well worth it - as I say I paid a whopping 59p for it, and have lost many hours to it! So for free you can't go wrong at all!

Also Square have released Imaginary Range & there is also Imaginary Range HD for ipad users - Both free. It's like a crazy comic come game type affair. Well woth a look. I've only had a brief go but it looks great, sounds good and is different enough to be interesting!

Bought this but takes up sooo much space! Took up about a gig near on my iPhone 4 so had to remove it for now. Great game but far too big to have that and Football Manager 2011 on the same 16gb phone.

Never realised NGDEVTEAM released Fast Striker on the app store until today, and it's pretty decent.
Not quite the same as the Cave shmups quality, and the screen options are kinda odd, but very playable and only ?1.79.

anyone know an app that makes good obvious use of the accelorometer? i don't think mines working on my ip4, because the 1 app i am using no longer responds to shaking like it did just a few hours ago, i can't think what else on the phone uses it.

Edit - never mind, type then shake to undo, it works, just the app is crap!
