Yeah, you're losing a ton of money if you haven't got the 3-coin items available. And they take loads longer to sell out so there's less need to check it.

And yep, got the golden elevator! All my Bux get converted to coins now, aside from occasionally spending them moving people in since the lift takes way too long to do that.

I'm going to make my next floor residential, maybe even the floor after that too. Rather have too many Bitizens available than too little as I'm finding now!

          TOWER UPDATE!

          Comment

Does this tower game play like the tower sp? Looks very similar (in that they both involve building towers!)...

I've not played that, but Tiny Tower isn't a sim and has no sim aspects, it's just about building and building and building.

Just had a look, didn't realise it was free so might just download anyway.

In The Tower SP you basically have to build a tower but take into account whether offices, homes or hotel rooms are in demand, make sure lifts are working and not too overloaded (and that people can get around the tower quick), that toilets are near the offices and then you get more things to build like food shops, other shops, a cinema etc etc basically with the aim to make money to build it higher. If you have a GBA to hand (or an emulator) I'd recommend it actually as its a great game.

Sounds like Tiny Tower is inspired by Tower SP! It is a stripped down freemium version of that but still highly addictive...

Nah, it's not really. All of that stuff in The Tower probably has an impact on the game. Like, if you don't build toilets people won't move in and if you don't build the business they want they won't use what you do build, much more of a sim. Tiny Tower is just... chilled out.

TTK - So how long before you start duplicating on shops that you build?

You can't AFAIK, once you have one of everything it stops.

But there are 131 unique floors (with more to come) so it'll be a while before I reach that point.

Yesterday saw the release of GameWank featuring WankyShooter. Jut another example of Apple's piss poor quality control. Not only do they let blatent Famicom ports and pure ripoff games appear on the store along with **** that souldn't even be accepted but now games with rude titles or at least to some English speaking countries.

There's a new Pinball Dreams remake on the app store now called Pinball Dreams HD, that works with retina and iPad. They've basically made the tables in 3D, still playing just as they did. Works great.
