i have an early firmware on my unlocked iphone tho, will i need a new firmware to get the newer games, without bricking my unlocked phone?

that web bolt on, will that deffinatly let me access edge anytime anywhere for £10 a month? and is there extra charges?

Tris the free Tetris clone is being removed from the app store tomorrow so if you haven't downloaded it already then today is the last day to do so.

The tetris company weren't happy so the developer is pulling the plug on it to avoid a copyright dispute.

just checked mine is a iphone firmware1.1.2 unlocked on o2 pay as you go, i cant seem to find an option to download apps/games in the itunes store, how do i get this to work woth the new firmware and not brick my phone?

If you are using an O2 sim I don't think you need to be unlocked so you should just be able to update as normal

just i was warned from the seller i bought it from not to update via itunes or resotre as it would brick it i really dont want to risk it unless im 100% sure, anywhere else i could find help? thx

If you are using an O2 SIM the phone doesn't need to be unlocked. You could restore the official firmware through iTunes then go through the activation process. With your SIM already being O2 it should be fine. My good lady gave her original iPhone to her Dad who is also on O2 PAYG and we had him up and running in minutes.
I think only one of the earliest firmware update could 'brick' iPhones you should be OK now. Check on a few iPhone forums and see how others have gotten on.

I tried this the other week when i pwned my iphone for 2.0.

I upgraded the phone as normal through itunes, put my orange sim in and it didnt work, i put an O2 PAYG sim in and it worked fine. So to answer your question yes its fine to upgrade as normal with any O2 sim without bricking it.


Also, yes you can upgrade as normal, then use pwnage 2.0 afterwards to unlock it without bricking the phone.

Something that talks you through the turns as you approach. Maps is brilliant but rather than having to look at my phone whilst driving it would be cool if someone could give me directions

You need to go to "Apps" - free and paid for applications and games are listed there (it's on right hand side of iTunes page, you may need to scroll down a bit).

I don't think the receiver is accurate enough for that is it?
