Yeah that's my mistake. You're absolutely right, it doesn't look like you can view Hotmail through a third party client (presumably because they're making all their money through advertising on the web client).

You can get pop3 support for hotmail my subscribing to Live mail Plus or if you want to get IMAP email on your Iphone (which works better if you have folders) you can sign up to Izymail which works fantasticly.

You have to pay a little for both options though.

Cheers for that- will look into it. Now if somebody could just get Ultima 7 working on it I'd be ecstatic...

For those looking to get a 3G phone, don't trust O2's coverage map; it says that I should definitely be able to get a good 3G signal in my flat which is far from true.

Oh, and the battery life is sh*t but other than that I love mine.

I am yet to really have a problem with battery life. I'm a pretty heavy call user and some iPod use and quite a bit of Internet use and I can easily make to about a day and a half without charge, which has come as a surprise based on what I had read. I do turn off 3g and wireless when not in use though which I guess helps.

Unlimited data over O2's cell (3G, Edge, or GPRS) network as well as access to all BT Openzone and The Cloud WiFi hotspots.

I think I might get one next month seeing as my o2 contract will be up for an upgrade.

How do i set up itunes with my mac so that when i sync contacts and iCal its the iPhone details that sync to the iMac and not the mac details that sync to the iPhone.

Just wiped all my contacts and iCal info off my iPhone like a silly twat

Got my numbers back by simply importing them from the sim again, but want to make sure that in the future i can back the info i make on the iPhone to the mac and not the other way round (seeing as i always use my phone for these functions)

Got my mums old iPhone now with my Pay as You Go sim card in. Getting the iPhone unlimited data bolt on soon. Can anyone tell me if this includes email data as well as the internet?

Data is data. The bolt on covers it all.

i have a unlocked iphone on o2 pay as you go, is it possible for me to get free edge internet somehow? also can i download games such as monkey ball, any help would be ace thank you

The easiest way to get free Edge access is to get someone else to pay for your top ups. Failing that you'll still need to pay for any data you download so the £10 bolt on is the way to go. Much cheaper than the PAYG data rates and it also includes the BT Openzone Wi-fi hotspots subscription.
You'll need an iTunes account to download games which you would have after activating the phone. You can download games over the air via GPRS, Edge or Wi-fi. Or download them onto your computer and sync them to the phone from there.

Tris the free Tetris clone is being removed from the app store tomorrow so if you haven't downloaded it already then today is the last day to do so.

The tetris company weren't happy so the developer is pulling the plug on it to avoid a copyright dispute.
