Stick tvcatchup on and listen to Internet radio for a while and you'll hit your limits. I'm at 748mb downloaded but I've no idea what duration that's over.

What's the situation though, is it costly if you go over...or do they not allow you to go over?

If it's the latter then they'll have to do something about it as they'll be forever getting complaints!

Also regarding the 750 limit, seeing that the iphone has a web-browser, can't you remote access your PC and make it download stuff for you from there?
        sorry I meant with 02...

Just wondering if anyone knows how to move the application directory in iTunes. I keep all the important stuff i want to keep on a seperate hard disk and the default directory for apps is on C:. Just don't want to forget about it if i format windows sometime.

Well ive done on average about 300mb a month in the last 3 months on my 2g, and thats just surfing the web, emails, and downloading the odd small app update, and thats just over gprs.

If i had a 3gs id use iplayer and tv catch up, as well as a satnav on it too which would obliterate 750mb in a matter of days probably.

Im just saying, 750mb is not enough.

In the UK isn't there a "all you can use" tariff available? I don't think I would have bought the iphone if there wasn't such an option here.

seems on 02 it's unlimited but on orange it's unlimited*
*750mb a month fair usage policy applies.

Only way you can do it is by setting the My Documents directory to your other hard drive, you need to right click on that folder and choose the Find Target option, iTunes won't allow you to save in any other folder but My Documents.

Excellent, thanks for that. The only reason i haven't done that sooner is because a game wouldn't save properly because of it, but its no longer a reason anymore.

I caved and ordered it with O2 from Mobiles.co.uk. £60 off and no chance of me hitting a bandwidth cap were too much to resist!

Lmao i was exactly the same!! Currently surfing NTSC-UK on it now it was the easiest transaction I've ever done, took a couple of minutes and the next day it arrived along with the ?60 in my quidco account, I have nothing but praise for mobiles.co.uk... Well apart from the insurance which you have no option to remove in the checkout

Ok people I have my screen protector on the way (martin fields) can't decide on a case, previously I had iskin evo on my old 2g, which while very protective did boat for aesthetics of the phone. Do any of you use slip cases?.. I'm liking the look of this: http://www.iwizz.co.uk/show_product/...d_3GS_-_Black/

I've bought one of these for starters. Will worry about a proper case once that's on. DOUBLE PROTECTION!

I'd feel a bit weird about wetting it to put it on :/

I'm looking for a clear case for my iPhone that isn't really bulky. I've come to the conclusion that no such thing exists

Alright so I DID get around to applying my new NLU Products BodyGuardz a little sooner than expected. I'm going to do a mini-review, but this is only part I of the review because I will require more time to see how the protection actually "settles" into place. (I'll answer questions after I'm...

That probably won't make you any less uneasy. Do the install in a steamy bathroom to minimise dust!

I'll check back in when I've failed finished installing it.

                              EDIT: Also, installation video.

Looks the same way you apply the Invisishield stuff.
