My '20 minutes at gas mark 6' ended up being '30 mins at gas mark 6 and another 30 at gas mark 8'.

Still they weren't properly cooked but I got tired of waiting!

Those types that hire a canal boat for the weekend and totally disregard everyone else on the canal.

Sunday, I was fishing and had been blanking all day until I got a nice bite.

Cue some twat in a boat who despite being clearly able to see me and having had me shout over to him to slow/stop as I was playing a fish he just blatantly kept going and snagged me on the boat.

Also those that go on a 'booze cruise'. Yes you may think it's funny to steer the boat all over the place, bang into the banks, make too much noise and generally be a total jockey, but at the end off the day, I'm the one that's laughing when you eventually do fall in - They ALWAYS do and I've seen it a number of times.

Glory hunters - amazing how many people have declared themselves fans of F1 and Jenson Button after the weekend, yet I bet half of them wouldn't recognise an F1 car if it drove through their garden wall.

Similarly now that Burnley are in the Prem it's a right pain in the arse to get tickets, particularly for away matches. Last season I could decide on a Saturday morning if I could make the 200 mile round journey to Turf Moor or not, this year I have to plan weeks in advance which isn't always practical depending on how busy I am with work.
