I always tried to convince myself the good outweighed the bad, and when it was good it was awesome, but when it was bad, it was beyond a joke at times. Can't live with the constant ups n downs. So stressful!

    Edit:

Agree with you on the loudness thing. I love going out etc but I absolutely hate when I wake up the morning after ALWAYS with a sore throat from shouting so much. It's just stupid.
I thought it was only women that went through this ****! Men can be so cold hearted and dissmissive though, women may seem crazy but you know underneath she wants to be with someone.

I'm sorry to have to say this, but thats a load of nonsense. It happens on both sides, even the cold & dissmissive part. And funnily enough guys dont only want to 'knob it & go'.

      Its a 50/50 thing.

Perhaps its stereotypical but I don't think its entirely 50/50 men are more capable of 'knob and go' but that's not the point

Why take two bottles into the shower when you can just knob and go?

I'd say more like 100% seeing as they have a knob

I got pulled on to the dance floor by one of the older women and I just one of those girlie playground clapping things(you know the ones) and went back to my seat. It actually worked.

If you don't know the ones, it was like this but with single claps:

One of my more shameful memories (that I don't remember) was my first work xmas party when I was 20. Not really accustomed to drinking with people of all ages yet I guess. I got very drunk and remembered very little.

I found out when I went back to work in January that Edith, the nice old woman who answers the helpdesk calls, had tried to get me up to dance. I guess I didn't want to, and my final word on the matter was "F**k off! I don't dance with grannies!". I bought her a box of chocolates to apologise, couldn't believe I said that.

That's classic. Don't be ashamed, just look on it as experience. My motto for the last decade has been "if I can't remember, I'm not embarrassed". I'm still having vague flashbacks to last saturday night, mainly barcardi/coke vomit and staggering around outside in -20 only in suit and shirt.

I maybe should have smoked it? Eating it appears to have been the wrong
