I think that the rape alone has possibly ruined her life seeing as shes only 16

I had to spend a fair bit of time putting togther an e-safety talk for parents (facebook, chat rooms, console game ratings etc) and an amazing 8 parents turned up! 1 of whom actually worked as a dinner lady in the school. Massive waste of my time.

And the ones that couldn't be bothered to show are probably the most vocal about such things and will continue to be. Am I right?

Chances are he'll do a year or so in high security cat A prison, then get moved to a cat B and for the last few months a cat C as for that crime he shouldn't get an open cat D prison. Most I can see him doing is 18 months with good behaviour.

****ing sickening when crimes like that have a more lenient punishment that stuff like tax evasion.

Trying to find somewhere to rent that is affordable, decent, is in a nice part of the city and isn't being rented by a 'live in landlord seeking female company' aka he'll be in your knicker drawer as soon as your out the door.......

The state being denied some income > a human life being potentially ruined forever.

Good bit of prioritising there. Money usually trumps worthless things like people. Some things in life are just seriously backwards.

What do you work as? teacher, social worker??....In one way I can see it from your point of view that only 8 people turned up(what were you hoping for 30,40 50?_)

But take it as a positive, even if only 1 of the parents takes your advise and manages to keep their child safe from the weirdos that prey on them..then you,ve succeeded..

Am not knocking you for the post mate.quite the opposite...

                          What city?

London is bad for that sort of thing.

I hate it when you try and pick something off the floor, somethign thin like a coin or a stamp, bend down and miss it by about a mm. You then try it another couple of times and keep missing! I can't be the only one to experience this.

I am a teacher. What slightly irks me though is that by doing this I feel as I am doing the parents job for them. If I had a kid I wouldn't let a 10 year old have a facebook account. The slackness of some parents amazes me.
