Office 2011 for Mac

I'm licensed for 2 copies. Both copies have been installed. We've sold the Mac mini that one copy was installed on so want to install and activate on the new Macbook. This is utterly impossible. There's no uninstaller that will deactivate it from a computer. A dozen calls to Microsoft resulted in nothing but frustration. In the end the only was to install the software that I have paid for and have the legal right to use was to go and visit pirate bay.

This irks me. I've had to rely on a website that deals almost entirely in pirate software in order to use software I'm legally entitled to because Microsoft have failed to think through their anti-piracy policy and or provide technical support that know what the hell they're doing.

Fortunately not, we're in a rented flat. We've had a couple of loony neighbours before but only one truly noisy one. Our new neighbour is a young girl who apparently has a live-in entourage. Thankfully they've stopped getting stoned all day so our flat no longer smells of pot smoke but that's probably because I heard her mum telling her off. Now the chav neighbours upstairs are arguing, stamping on the floor and throwing things at each other. Don't know how they ever stopped screaming at each other long enough to procreate.

On a similar theme, I'm not sure what's going on with the couple across the landing from me. Nice enough couple, with a kid, but some people have turned up at odd hours, and occasionally been shouting and thumping the door. We even discovered someone passed out on the landing one weekend morning. Curious...

Idiots. I ordered some speakers online. The box for the speakers arrived today, with some speakers and something else in the box that bear no relation to the photo on the outside of the box. Whoever, or whatever packed them either KNEW they were sending the wrong thing, or must literally be blind. Idiots...
