A big food irk of mine is pies that only have a pastry top. When I order pie I want full on pastry goodness, not some poxy puff pastry lid.

Agree with the board thing though, my local does that and serves the chips in a metal cup!

Ah, of course that's what you meant! I'm not quite sure how I thought otherwise!

I think that's a really good idea. All you'd need is a one-page document detailing the characters, settings and overall conceit and another one-page doc with a handful of basic plot lines, then away you go!

I'm working on my own sitcom, which is at the pilot script stage. I can't give the name but it's Father Ted/Black Books in style and set in a small autonomous town full of idiosyncratic characters. If it turns out to be half the show Miranda is, I'll be delighted!

Completely unrelated-I was just reading the Guardian's report on the recent riots and this made me smirk: 'Youths were seen fleeing the street carrying TVs and stereos.'

Gotta be over ?200 in games there, more on a good day. I have had similar stupid offers, particularly when doing bundles of blu rays recently - one guy offered ?65 for a lot I had listed at ?130. Right....

At least some of them are getting creative, one came up with a huge sob story!

It was revealed on Saturday that *Duggan had been shot in an exchange of fire after the police's Trident unit, which deals with gun crime, stopped the vehicle he was travelling in. A police officer was said to have escaped injury in the shootout when a bullet lodged in his radio.

ok... WTF did they expect the police to do in that situation? Given where the police put their radios, he was lucky not to receive a bullet in the lungs or heart.

Trying to find a decent video of the Evo 2011 SSF4 AE top 8 finals and failing miserably.

Found a full one on twitch.tv/sfchannel and it keeps freezing. Some kind soul put that onto YouTube but buggered up the audio sync(it's like 3-4 seconds behind the video) so I carried on looking. Found someone who's done a good job but he's cut out all the interim stuff and left just the fights.

And of course, naturally, while typing out this irk, I find a decent one

irk of mine today is i really regretting a smart phone i find it a pain to use and charge lasts no time

Turn off everything you don't need. Without data on mine will last 3 days without charging.

Also, don't make calls or send texts, lol. If fact, just leave it turned off and the battery will last for weeks.
