I had one I've been trying to shake for 3 weeks. I'm sure it's more than one though, all compounded.
What the hell is the body's response to colds for? Useless.
I haven't had one since before the summer before this though.

I swear that I only started getting continuous colds thruout the yr in the last 2 yrs, & I dont think its only me cos there have been loads of ppl at work, my family, friends etc who have had the same thing going on. I believe that your body also has a seasonal clock, & throughout the yrs it has learned these cycles & prepared itself for those weather changes that they bring, but the constant sudden weather changes we've experienced in the last few yrs is rendering our bodies to become inable to prepare itself for the illnesses that the different seasons bring

Or you've just been unlucky, cause the cold virus doesn't care about temperature at all, its equally virulent in all seasons.

Yeah thats right. Everyone I know inc work collegues who never get ill are unlucky.
Maybe its not the temp its the way your body prepares itself due to the seasons times, hence why I said 'clock'

Why is it surprising that if one person is ill the group of people they associate with get ill?

No wackier an idea than that our immune system is thrown off kilter by unseasonal weather :P.

Ensure your body has vitamin D for the seasonal change, its a virus killer!

Also, take Echinacea tea to reduce the chance of catching a cold and help shift a cold you have. Do not have your heating on stupidly high as the change from *edit*outside*edit* cold to hot and back again encourages virus breeding.

Half a lemon, 4 tea spoons of honey and a shot of rum in a mug of hot water = bliss when you have a head cold!

Facebook has made copies of Wikipedia pages, so now 2 copies of the same stuff appears at the top of searches on google. Useless.
Try "guru logic champ review" for example.

The main reason there is *correlation* between winter and the common cold is because you spend more time indoors. And the virus does prefer an indoor enivironment.

Remember science fans, correlation does not always imply causation.

Actually *being* cold yourself has nothing to do with it. As anyone who has had a cold in summer can attest.
