op went well she is grand ...i popped into work today (just stopped by finding my shift out on thursday when i am back) and got a email basically saying "not sure if we can get you today as banking out the hours and then paying them back...if we cannot it will go down as a unpaid abscence and will lead to a meeting with hr and possibly displinary issue"........to say i am seething red will be a understatement

I got a final written warning from 118118 for my first "absence" when they moved the pick up location of the free shuttle and I had no way of knowing, walked an hour back from town to tell them I wouldn't be coming in. I walked out of the meeting with the floor manager and laughed - same week they gave me a free ticket to Red Hot Chili Peppers with James Brown opening for being the best on the team.

Well my house has given way to a load of sewage water from upstairs. Going to be thousands to repair for the insurance companies.
At least it will be on their insurance and not mine. Might have to move out for a bit though but nothing important was damaged.
