I ordered Mark Everett's book (Things the grandchildren should know) from Waterstones because everyone else was out of stock and it appeared in stock on their website.

Three days later I get the email saying they are trying to source it from their supplier.

That was nearly a fortnight ago, incompetence REIGN supreme!

Seems a hard book to find mind that one.

same thing happened to me kinda; ordered a guitar from GAK, waited a day and then was told it'd be out of stock for a week. Too impatient for so I've sent a emailing them telling them to not to bother and I've found a site which does sell it and at a slightly cheaper price, just a shame i've heard of it before.
