I haven't a clue what UPNP is i'm afraid. Complete n00b here. I swear I used to know loads when I was 16, people used to come to me when they needed computery stuff sorted, brain cell killing alcohol soon sorted that out though.

I've babbled on far too long here but your comments really threw me when I read them. Anyway, I'm sure you'll all be pleased to know I've shut up now!

I think everyone has jumped to the conclusion these kids were only interested because they thought all those boats and planes were being taken by aliens or something... in fact most of them came up with scientific explanations for what was (actually never) happening there. Combinations of unusual magnetic fields and poor weather conditions making navigation hard and so on.

My irk with it is comparable to listening to someone tell a story that everyone was enjoying and then having a heckler start arguing about the details. It's just a story so why not let it be...

My little girl dropped her DS Lite on the ground yesterday and broke it. Less than 30 seconds after I told her to stop swinging it around because she'd drop it. Less than 30 seconds!

The DS is less dual screen and more two single screens attached by a bit of something. As the break is just by the R button, it's going to be tough to get it back together with any kind of strength.

Where the hell are all my rechargeable batteries. I bought loads of the things for Wii remotes and balance board. They have all ended up in kids toys. Probably left at other houses.

My irk is that my nat settings have always been strict, despite someone in the help forum kindly giving me some sound advice on how to open them, through a tutorial which explained everything step by step, result - still strict nat settings which means i'm never able to get a multiplayer game going on live unless a friend invites me to their game.

I struggled with the NAT settings on the homehub for a while. Sometimes changing settings would work, other times not. I eventually discovered that resetting the network settings on the Xbox (possibly deleting the device from the homehub too, can't remember) and going through the setup process, fixed it every time.

I feel the same mate. Never liked the guy & he's appearing everywhere at the mo. I dont like his attitude or tone & I dont think he's a great actor either, let alone a tv presenter.

I will say that Patrick Stewart was well out of order for his stupid drunken pop at the guy at that awards ceremony tho.
