I buy a dvd thru the mail. It arrives & its a re-seal - never a good thing. Open it up to find light marks on the disc, so to me its not new as it been handled at some point - not a happy fella.
Whats Zavvi like when it comes to returning DVDs? Do I have to pay the postage even tho they f*cked up?

Got a card through the door yesterday 'cause Royal Pain In the Arse couldn't deliver a parcel. Walked about a mile and a half to the Post Office, and waited for ten minutes as they ran around completely unable to find the parcel. Then I was forced to leave without the parcel, and they'll call me when they find it. So I can walk there again. Genius.

Wasn't all bad though, bumped (not literally) into the amazing looking girl from uni on the way back

Oh, and whoever it was that said tins of sweets are getting smaller was right. 943g Roses weighed last year. This year they're 826g.

That is pretty substantial! (Still worth four quid though)

At work there's a faulty fire PSU in the office and it constantly is making rattling/clicking noises and it's been happening constantly for the past 4 weeks everyday.

It's driving me absolutely bonkers and the management don't seem to be in any rush to fix it (of course not, as they're not here where it's going off all day!).

Shocking too considering it would most certainly fail any Health/Safety/Fire checks with this happening.

Had a ridiculous day at work today trying, among other things, to chase up a printer repair for a hotel I support blah blah blah, then being told that the company will send an out-of-hours engineer for free(nice) but that he wouldn't arrive until 7:30 earliest(arrived at 8 while I was at M&S buying a scone), all the while being hounded by the hotel for not being angry enough. Got so annoyed that I booked a half-hour at a piano room nearby and took my frustration out there before he arrived. Freakily, I managed to play the two and a quarter pieces I know with only one mistake, and that was because some numpty who'd booked the room after me decided to prance in 5 minutes early(which threw me off) and then waited outside the door listening to some **** music on his phone speaker. There's an unwritten rule there that you don't even knock on a door until it's your time to go in. Clearly the man can't read unwriting.

Back at the hotel, I then had to explain that I was not going to start rearranging(and reconfiguring) printers at 8:30 on a Friday evening and that they'd just have to wait until Monday and print to the back office printer in the meantime.
