One more for net curtains. Net curtains are the best. I always look upon non-netted domestic windows with disgust.

Net curtains are for old people.

When I lived in east London the staring was stupidly bad, so much so, that when I stared back it was like we entered a staring contest. The best one ever though was when a man walked past my house, stared in, then knocked on the door to try and sell me a painting that he thought would go with the one I had already hanging on my wall!

I no longer live in east London.

Net curtains stop you getting broken into, if they can't see **** they don't know what you have & your not as appealing as the house next door that has a living room full of electronics on prominent display as they have no nets up.

Also with net curtains, they'll just assume all you have to steal is some dodgy wallpaper, cups and saucers, a tin of biscuits and a picture of Jesus.

I bought Paranormal Activity 3 on thursday. So far I've had no luck getting any of mates to join in watching. Not watching it alone. Need better/different/more friends.

The majority of houses you see (Especially down here in London) with net curtains look like manky ****eholes, so you could have a point. Why anyone would have them in this day and age is beyond me.

Nets for me too as per Importaku's reasoning.

So do insurers give discounts on contents insurance if you have a net curtain security system fitted?

If you're unwinding with a Tommy Tank in the comfort of your living room, and a passer-by is staring through the window, who is at fault?

                      Comment

The tanker would be at fault for indecent exposure because they knew the public could see in.

That's what the b*stard judge said to me, anyway...

I can't live without net curtains myself. They make the place feel much more private and hide my stuff from people.

Net curtains aren't for old people, man! Net curtain designs are for old people. It's the bloody designs, all that geometric/flower nonsense.

I'd love a net curtain with the Streets of Rage 2 logo on it.
