Dodgy takeaways/restaurants are notorious employers of illegal immigrants though, so I don't know what your point is.
My point is that you don't have to possess high-end skills/qualifications in order to land work here, legal or not.

As long as I'm not directly, physically harmed, I don't care. Too bad other people don't share this outlook.

    Nope.

They contribute, if they're working they are producing something or providing a service, even if it's cleaning my **** up or filling in a hole in the road, that's all the contribution that's needed as far as I'm concerned.

After all, it's not like the returning officer will look at your ballot and go 'Righto, Dave Fallows has voted for the BNP but he's not racist, it's actualy a protest vote. Better tell the government right away- that'll shake them up a bit'. Particularly in view of the fact you'll be leaving the country, you might as well not bother.
I'm not confused about anything, and I don't know what your point is. I will vote for who I wish, for whatever reason I like. That's the point isn't it? I'd vote for The Hitler Party if one existed. His logo would be cool as well.

Yeah it is, so if you're happy voting for a racist political party then good luck to you.

        Yep, I am.

Are there any Islamic extremist parties? I'd even vote for one of those if it makes you happy, anything that's radical and sparks up a bit of controversy is fine by me.

But no one reads their private little twitters! It's not like news starved tabloids could quickly and easily follow every MP's twitters at the same time in the hope that one or more of them make some gaffes...

I'm sure its not just me but I find everything to do with the election coverage and campaigns hateful, the level of debate seems to be based on old playground principles of shouting and saying the other kid did worse than you and it all seems peurile, even though the issues really aren't.

In general my view is that society gets the politics it deserves and so the majority of votes to be gained are with the idiot masses, who this garbage is aimed at.

I've never felt less interested in politics or the people up for election.

There should be a box to tick "none of the above". That would certainly get my vote. There's barely any difference between any of the parties - they're all pro EU socialists basically (and frankly I am not a fan of socialism - does not and will not work and the EU in its current form is anti-democratic) and most of their policies fall within margins of error of each other.

As it is I shall vote for the party in my area most likely to keep Labour out. Their economic record alone should confine them to the scrapheap of history and lets face it it will be funny to watch security being called to remove a kicking and screaming Gordon "honest I'm not bonkers" Brown from Number 10. Tears and a mental breakdown? The least he deserves.

You can spoil your vote... just write "none of the above" over the top of the candidates.

Yeah but it should be formalised and have an effect on who gets in. Though how you'd deal with no party being able to govern because 50% of the votes are for "none of the above" I'm not sure.

Don't think any of the parties are socialists, Ish.

I'd consider voting for any party that runs PFIs out of town.

I'm not a fan of PFIs either.

Perhaps socialism is the wrong word. Self serving large state controlling interfering centralised power would perhaps be the better words. But hell - thats socialism, or at least where it always ends up.

Think the extreme of most political systems would end up like that!

If you vote 'none of the above' will Brewster get in? Does anybody know if any of the parties understand the size of videogaming and plan to nurture that area? Or do they all think there's two games: Mario and GTA and they're melting the minds of kids?
