On at the moment. The amount of Lib dem arse kissing Brown is doing is painful to watch.

Cameron and Clegg are 'winning' at the moment.

taking aside the fact all the content is BS and they won't do it the Lib Dem guy is coming across very well.

Brown should never have agreed to this, he's almost a modern day Nixon when talking live, inherently shifty and dislikeable.

Cameron is quite smooth but sure lots of the country will see him as a posh southern twat

I do like the way Clegg is coming across, but I was going to vote Lib Dem anyway so I'm already more favourable to what he's saying.

Don't agree with Cameron too much but he hasn't come across as too much of a tit.

Brown had the most cringeworthy moment so far with his "you can airbrush your posters, but you can't airbrush your answers" line. Stupid bloody jokey slogans that have nothing to do with actual policies.

              Clegg > Cameron > Brown

Brown's strategy of being too chummy with Clegg and making 'jokes' (your audience isn't allowed to react, you're always going to get a tumbleweed) made him look pretty bad.

was impressed by how Clegg handled himself

Clegg won by a mile. Still think Brown did okay because he had a few real facts on his side. Cameron annoyed a bit becuase he kept forcing home the fact that he talked to real people.

                  I agree with Nick.

Thought Clegg started off best with Cameron struggling.

By the end thought Cameron was on top, Clegg to me came across a bit repetitive mentioning the same point again and again. Brown looked out of his depth, though as has already been mentioned he's not known for being great in front of the camera, unlike (whether you like him or not) Blair.

                      For me it was Cameron>Clegg>Brown

None were great but at least Cameron wasn't too much of a prat. Brown (price of being in charge) made some bad dodges and heads a party that blatantly needs some time out. Clegg was typical lib dem, trying to trade off the honesty card because it's an easy play when you know you aren't going to win.

Said right at the start of this thread that I had more respect for Clegg, and after watching this tonight I haven't changed my opinion. He just comes across as a more genuine person to me.

Also, I find the way Brown and Cameron tend to use smart quips against each other (in prime minister's questions specifically) to be somewhat childish and embarrassing. How many bloody times is Brown going to keep making smart comments relating to that airbrushed Tory poster for example?

That's the thing, the two of them seemed so busy point scoring off one another for the hour I sat through, that Nick Clegg was able to run rings around them in terms of getting his point across.

90% of what he was saying was "if we get in, this is what we're going to do" and actually addressing the questions being asked, something which Brown and Cameron only seemed to do in between the smarm when they remembered.

For me, the loser tonight was Cameron. I dont think Brown did his reputation any harm, considering the starting point he came from.

Overall though Clegg came across best, locally its a two horse race between Labour and Conservative. Its a shame we dont have PR because I would definitely vote for Lib Dem

I also thought Clegg did well with the expenses questions where he was able to point out that Cameron and Brown had already voted against various changes that they were now promising to put through. Definitely reinforced my intention to vote Lib Dem.

The early polls seem to put Clegg well on top with Brown trailing in third.

I think the grilling from Clegg took Cameron by surprise. I felt Cameron and Brown both came off as full of the same old rhetoric, whilst Clegg was able to rip into both at the same time.
