iPad 2 will be on it's way by the time that ships. Strangely though the development tools are HTML/CSS/Java and Flash. It's going to need an absolute whopper of a battery. And I'm still not convinced that a 7" screen is large enough for a tablet.

Looks good, I understand when the new iOS for ipad is officially out we will be able to listen to our PC stored itunes library via ipad? Airplay or whatever, unless im barking up the wrong tree.

I think that lets you stream from ipad to airtunes express / apple tv. which I wanted originally but all my lossless music is now 128K AAC on the ipad to save space. so meh.

Seems you can install 4.2 beta on a normal iPad. Just get it from the usual places (a 520MB ipsw file), and then click on the update button in itunes while holding shift, and it asks you to browse to it, install, and done!

Multitasking and folders! very nice.

Im expecting delivery of a 32GB (non-3G) Ipad in the next day or two, having secured a pretty good deal (£400) through someone I know. The main idea is for me to be able to read documentation (PDFs) on the train etc. Only question at this point is whats a decent case for it? I expect once it arrived Ill have a whole heap of questions though

Will I need to repurchase apps Ive bought for my Iphone, or will they just sync onto the Ipad?

Does it stop youtube being a bit crap at loading or can no force in the world stop that.

I dunno, I don't use youtube on it very much. uhm my friend said the same thing about his ipad doing that actually. I think he did a hard reset or something. I dunno

Ive found it to be very inconsistent, I have one video on my favorites that barely loads at all. The Wifi im finding dubious also, in the same spot my laptop will have excellent connectivity but the ipad 1 dot. doesnt massively impact on performance but as I say, very inconsistent.

Still in love tho.
