Day 2 of the haul.
So as you guys know i am buying the SHFiguarts Kamen Rider stuff but it hasn't stopped me eying up the S.I.C stuff.
So if you don't know S.I.C stands for Super imaginative Chogokin! Its basically a line of figures standing around 7-9 inches tall and have quite a bit of diecast in/on them but most importantly they are designed by Takayuki Takeya who does some of the nicest and freakiest sculpts about ( he did the Koto Yoshimitsu for example ). So you get Kamen Riders with his twist and you get some interesting hyper detailed, modern and more organic results.
Some look better ( the more grasshoppery looking ones lol ) than others but all of them come with a ton of accessories and most of them have the extra parts for the upgraded version ( Ryuki has him normal and his "survive" mode ) which is cool as usually its 2 separate figures with any other line.
Take Kamen Rider ZX for Example here is in the show:
Which is yes pretty retro and pretty lame to be honest lol but check him out in the SIC line:

So picked up SIC Ryuki for rather cheap to check out the line and i'm pretty happy with it, apparently these earlier releases are a bit fragile and i can see what they mean, bits do fall off when posing but hes totally solid with his big chunks of metal
From what i have read though the newer stuff is much more solid.
For what i payed i am very happy and i do only intend to pick up certain characters who i think work with this look....its just a lot of them work with this look lol

While placing all my consoles in their boxes because I'll move out the next week, I've found this:
Who's this guy? I recall that it came with my DUO-R because they eBay seller from whom I bought it from used to place one in each purchase as a freebie.Comment

This thread has inspired me somewhat.
I've spent ?200 on figures/ statues, and another ?100 on a case to display them- along with all my older ones that have been in a box for some time. Tomorrow it's getting built- and they are being displayed in my games room!

Hey! Its Day 6!
Been wanting this for a while now! Devil May Cry 4 Dante by Kotobukiya. Its 1/6 scale, about 10 inches to the top of his coat and made from PVC like the other ArtFX statues by Koto. Super happy with it, yeah his face could be a bit more accurate but the over all details and paint apps etc are excellent! Also he comes with Ebony and ivory and Rebellion for some nice display options!
They also made a Nero.......Comment
