Two things from last night's visit to the local amusement centre/arcade. Firstly when trying to win a prize in the grabber machine I somehow managed to grab one of the plastic balls surrounding the prize. Made my wife laugh anyway.

Secondly I had a shot on the Guitar Hero III machine. I last played it in there over two years ago. I picked the same song on the same difficulty and was happy that I got my name up 4th on the board (I had a good few beers before!). Imagine my surprise when my third place score from over two years ago had still not been beaten! People in Aberdeen must really suck at that game.

The weather recently. It's bloody cold but beatifully crisp and clear. Living in such a cloudy and rainy country I forget how a little sunshine, blue skies and being able to see the stars can make you feel so much happier.

Yeah, but I had to walk for about half an hour earlier with the sun smashing my face to pieces the entire way. Not so happy.

In smiling news, I set up a trade on amazon earlier on, and the price I got was ?13.70. Since then, the price of the game has dropped to ?11.49 but my trade price is locked in!

I know how you feel dude, I have the exact same problem with every other takeaway but thankfully I'm OK with pizza.

Trying out Simple Simon's Chicken and Swiss pot pie for dinner tonight. Locally made and may become a regular thing if it's any good.

Oh and starting my 1kg Dairymilk has brought a big smile to my face - breakfast was coffee, cashew nuts and CHOCOLATE.

Dairymilk contains no* chocoloate It's a bar of vegetable fat and milk. Tasty though.
