I don't know who Nick Griffin is, I'm not English. I was wondering if this was a similar case to the riots in Paris a few years ago, as I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) Tottenham is populated by minorities?

Beyond that, this whole situation is terrible. IMO, it's deeper than the guy who got shot (though that was obviously a big part of it). The rich/poor divide has widened considerably since the savage Tory cuts and the riots (ironically predicted by Nick Clegg) are starting to flare up.

That said, what's happening here on the ground level for the most part is little more than rampant opportunism.

Some people online (Youtube etc) are bringing race into it, but I think it's about underpriveliged people of all skin colours going nuts, for whatever reason.

Oh yes, the small-minded bigots will certainly use this as an opportunity to tar all persons of colour with the same brush...

These riots seem to be spreading closer and closer to me. Kingston must be pretty much next on the list after Wimbledon and Clapham Junction et al started getting hit.

Let's get one thing straight, Rango is not god awful. It didn't know what it wanted to be and failed to find an audience, but it's actually well worth watching.

As for the people who feel the need to lash out at this Country (the ones setting fire to buildings, not the ones hating Rango... Unless they are one in the same), oh dear. There isn't a big enough facepalm image suitable enough.

These riots are terrible, no excuses in my book and it's an insight into mob rule - People are losing their homes ffs.

On a slightly different note, this coming weekend there is an edf and unity rally being held in a small part of town where I live- The local stores have already been told to not open, and shoppers where warned to not enter the area this coming weekend. It doesn't take a genius to figure out what's going to be happening, especially with all this going on.

Most of London being smashed is Labour held
