I had an AMAZING view of the eclipse!

We had some polarising lenses to have a look at the eclipse, best I could do with my cameraphone!

Nicest shot I got was this, a little bit more abstract.

I reckon I got some good ones. Will bring the card in from the car at lunchtime and post results. Had a fair bit of cloud cover which meant that my 4 stops of stacked NDs plus a polariser plus f/22 at 1/4000th did the job!

New bird seed isn't going down well - should probably get some stuff from Beak's Wild Bird Food - dunno whether it's because of the mix or they're just preferring the suet. This pic the feeders were filled well over a week ago.

Ah, I know why we never saw it. It wasn't visible from this part of Japan apparently, Yamaguchi Area.
