Does anyone know the rule for a 30 day refuse car? I just got a new (used) one and found some corrosion I'm not best pleased so want to know if I can return it if they don't fix it properly (I paid by debit card in full so no hp)

Probably going to have to get rid of the 86. 4 people commute each morning starting this summer. It's only a half hour journey but the moving seats forward to let people in and out and having to move driver seat further forward than I'd like is gonna get annoying pretty quick. Currently considering a focus ST as 4 doors, nippy, good price. Anything else I should consider?

Should seat 4 or 5 easily. Should feel nice to drive. Doesn't need to be super quick. I'll take handling over raw performance. I could stretch to 25k for something new
Would consider something a couple of years old for up to about 18k.

Those are all older than I said by at least 3 years, between 2k and 7k more than I said I'd pay and that last one is one of the worst looking cars on the road. I don't mean to sound ungrateful ;-)

Ugh.. i dont know if im just being a pedantic idiot but..

See i live on this farm yard estate, where the old cow sheds have been converted into properties. Anyway parking is always a premium and nothing is actually set in legal stone, my rented place has spaces provided by the owners. Theres this utter **** bin spot by the house which is basically mud on a hill under pine trees and apple trees, so in the winter your stuff gets caked in rotten pine needles and pelted with apples and bird ****.

Thankfully they let me park the rx8 up on this flat car gravel park area they turned their outdoor riding school into, fits about 5 cars or so.
Parking is always a massive fker here due to the owners continuing to build properties but without actually expanding the yard/parking/area land. Anyway this weekend other renters had some family turn up, some other random crap and because i was out (in the other car) with folks, mothers day actually, my rx8 was in the car park and apparently "in the way" so after a lot of who-ha im now bumped down into the mud infested patch next to my house.

And to get back to my asshole nature, i dont like it, ive expressed this to all, but yeah i dont like it, i dont like parking the car in ****, to get covered in **** nightly, and on just a generally bubbly style uneven ground where ever wheel is at a different height, its annoying me so much i might just sell the god damn car.

I love the car but, i just know keeping it there is going to nark me off daily, and frankly I dont want to keep it there and rack up extra cost or just flat out do damage id rather sell it on to someone who cared.

I realism this is a massive over-reaction as those close to me have quickly expressed...but yeah, it annoys me...just thought id vent...

That looks awesomely terrifying! Clearly I'm not going to get the car I want so it's all about picking the right compromise. The drive in this morning had me thinking a big 4 x 4 was the only sensible option; the howling rain, localised flooding and pothole combination was shocking.

Outback? You can get one with 400 miles on the clock for ?25k. Big tyres, smaller wheels will give a better ride on rough roads than a big 4x4 and will go around corners. Like a Legacy but a bit higher.

Just had a look a the new Merc A-Class. Trading performance for a bit of class (vs a Focus). 150ish HP would be not too bad.

Someone just suggested I buy a 4 door runabout for a grand or so and run 2 cars... Hmmmm
