Ivy green variant is just SS doing another poor cop out. The original looks way better, looked amazing in hand. Guess it's good for those who missed out though.

I don't really think it's a cop out, if they hadn't changed the base then I would have thought twice but changing the base at least shows they put more thought into it than just a repaint

They only changed the flowers on Ivy's base.

Its looks very well done, seems very late though, even EA doesn't care about Dead Space anymore.

I'd been tempted by the limited run replica Captain America shield thats pretty pricey but gonna hold off as still paying on my preorder of Juggernaut and hoping they later do a battle damaged Cap shield

Well my weekend is going to be filled with more kit building as my youkai watch plamo kits turned up today, was really pleased to see the moulding on the parts is super detailed it's just begging for painting.

Well i built the Jibanyan kit this evening, lol looks like crap. But plamo kit's always do till you detail them up, will paint it on my days off once i get work out the way tomorrow. Looking forward to seeing how it looks once painted. Im at least glad that there are guide lines, so it's going to be perfect to add panel lining too.

And im done, i know they are not as fancy as resin statues but for ?4 quid you can't complain too much. All the details have been painted in including ones like the tail flames that even the cheaty artists on the instruction leaflet didn't bother painting in. The only stickers i used were the meowKB magazine stickers.

Quite a few faces to use & the articulation isn't too bad, the youkai watch plamo kits are pretty good they even include a holder for all the spare parts so they dont get lost, anyway here's some pics.

I haven't built anything for ages and i sold all my MG Gundam kits a while back. I may have to pick something up soon just to scratch the itch.

Ah thanks i was pretty pleased how it turned out, finally starting to get the hang of using acrylics with a brush the finish is improving. Been looking into using a dulling topcoat spray as i have heard once you dull the entire layer it pulls all the colours together & stops it looking so shiny & cheap plastic however im concerned that it might make the panel lines run as they are just gundam maker for the most part so i have held off doing it. The robonyan kit i can't totally complete till i get an airbrush so i shall be saving that one for another time i think.

My cheapy gundam kits i ordered a page or so back have finally arrived, maybe build one of those next. Most likely goung to be the 00QUAN[T] as it looks all spiffy with it's clear parts, very little painting needed too so not too time consuming to build.

Ah Neo you should maybe go for a cheaper kit like the SD ones they are nice to have around when you get that urge to build one, i go through phases with them, sometimes im all raring to go & other times i have no interest in building anything but i have 11 oustanding kits in my rainy day pile just in case hehe.

I've built pretty much every grade kit there is and Master Grades are the only ones that satisfy me now, perfect grade are amazing but time consuming i feel MG is the right balance. I had about 30 SD kits at one point all built and they look great but i want something i can get my teeth into. I might go for a MG Gundam X as its one of my fave series and i yearned for a MG for years and it came out after i stopped building them, so it'll give me a sense of closure

But yeah a MG 00 QAN[T] would be good as i just love it in the movie and i used it a ton in Gundam Extreme VS, great design overall.
