It appears that Shogo Hasui hasn't actually left Takara but he has been moved (along with his team) to work on upcoming Bayformers figures

Also in other news...Sideshow have secured the license for Godzilla stuffs

Look forward to see what they do with the license

I'm hoping for a massive like 28inch tall Godzilla statue, don't want like 17 inches like the Pacific Rim stuff.

We'll see what they do with it.....knowing SS these days it'll be 1/6 figures of the humans ._.

Ooooh Could you imagine a Legendary Scale statue??
        That would be awesome

Lol yeah they have got on the 1/6th bandwagon a bit lately

I bet we won't see anything for about a year though.

I'd actually like a diorama, where something is happening.
I Googled "Godzilla Fukuoka Tower Model" and my own photo came up!

Those little Godzilla Dio's are great i had the entire first serie sof them at one point when i was buying everything Godzilla lol.

I would like a nice Godzilla statue, i did have the X-plus ones which were really nice at one point but i really didn't look after them. X-Plus do some fantastic 30CM Vinyl stuff too but the prices are nuts.

A decent diorama style statue line would be great but it'd have to be Toho Godzilla. I'm not saying i'm not looking forward to the new movie but if i get statues i want it of the Japanese Godzilla.......still hoping SS pull something out the hat and surprise me though!

First statue of 2014 arrives tomorrow lol didn't take long did it

Doing an image search for "Godzilla diorama" brings up some amazing stuff!

I wish they'd do a Monster Arts version of Jet Jaguar as he's my fave.

I'd never heard of that before.

Is the anime any good or is it a bit long-winded?

Last time I tried reading some manga, I felt the stories dragged on foreeeever - 20th Century Boys, Gantz etc.

Couldn't they throw some salt on that Colossal titan's exposed bits?

The anime is fairly pacey compared to some similar shows. There's a lot of action and no overwrought character development. The battles look great, imagine if Spiderman had dual swords and had to kill giants.

I've almost finished the first volume of manga. Not really understanding the fuss right now.

                          That's bonkers Chope, looks awesome.

I've only watched episode 1, keep meaning to watch more but trying to wrestle the remote from Katie is a battle itself & I'm not sure it's suitable to watch around Chloe either, hopefully soon

I couldn't recommend Titan enough, it's just fantastic, those first like 5 -6 eps were just brilliant imo and the plot continues to twist and turn throughout. Also the action sequences are fantastic, really great pacing and pretty gory.

I know a lot of people who hadn't watched anime for while and this hooked them back in.

Been a while since I posted here...that means a lot of photos. Thumbnailed for the good of your bandwidth

Let's open with a bit of Gundam, Master Grades from Char's Counterattack.

This is the Geara Doga, Neo Zeon's workhorse MS.

I was surprised on how big it was when fully assembled, and that all the yellow piping is rubber instead of the usual tube madness of most Zeon suits. It's one of the very few MGs that required a bit of glue, as the pipings, especially on the leg, weren't particularly happy to stay attached to their pegs.

The latest arrival in the MG family is the Sazabi Ver.Ka...it's simply majestic, here shown fully opened, showing off the two colour internal details and several hidden thrusters (not present in the original model), and with a beam rifle from one of Izubuchi's original illustrations.

This model is not without faults, however. The Sazabi is one of the few non-giant MS (like the Zeon, Pallas Athene, Queen Mantha, or Psycho Gundam) with the cockpit in the head, and Katoki always reproportions the Suits a bit by stretching the legs; here the torso has been shrunk a little bit, and it affected the head as well: the result is that the cockpit in the head does not contain the usual seat and pilot, but instead only the parts necessary to bring the light from the LED unit below the neck to the monoeye. The rifle that the Sazabi is holding doesn't quite fit with the rest of the body, thus the weird angle. But the rest is absolutely fantastic, pure fun to build. It will take some time to build, I spent three afternoons on it.

Moving on to Unicorn, the Jesta, Londo Bell's workhorse MS. This is tiny compared to the Geara Doga, and for being an improved GM, it features a lot of cool things.

The shield is held by an arm extending from the backpack, and it's the kit's weak link, as it will dislodge a lot when posing.

                              Time for softer things.

Totori, not from Atelier Totori but from Atelier Meruru.

It's a good figure, by Phat! Company, but like Good Smile's previous attempt at the character, her face is not 100% convincing...overall, the figure is not as good as Rorona (MegaHouse) or Meruru (Phat!), but it's a well done figure nonetheless.

Some companies started to finally sculpt good BlazBlue figures.
Mu-12...at 1/8 she's huge thanks to the blades.

The only thing I can say about this figure is that it's sold as from ChronoPhantasma, but her expression seems more from Continuum Shift.

Noel arrived yesterday, with Totori...she's at the strange scale of 1/7, and very well sculpted, with a lot of detail.

She's in her ChronoPhantasma outfit, much more revealing that her original uniform...and I like her flowing hairs.
                              The mantle can be removed...

                              She wears white panties.
                              How do I know?
Because the skit can be removed as well (it's actually part of the assembling procedure as there's protective plastic between the skirt and the legs).

                              And that's all, folks.

Very very cool update! Love the Sazabi!

My Tsume Byakuya Kuchiki ( Bleach ) came and he won't fit in his base, gutted.
